JACOB’S LADDER REVIEW – CALIFORNIA
Summary: This cigar thunders in like the "Immigrant Song" with dark chocolate and pepper. Lots of smoke and dark ash keep things rocking. While there aren't any major flavor transitions to note, I'm digging the profile. Espresso closes things out. King Kong-chest pound.

JACOB’S LADDER REVIEW – WISCONSIN
Summary: The closed foot on this cigar gives spicy cocoa notes. After that, the cigar is a ride of cocoa, oak, brown sugar, earth, cereal grain, tea, and a bit of meatiness. Pepper slowly builds in the back of the throat throughout the experience.
The burn was superb, and the draw gave no issues at all. If you're the kind of person who digs a cigar with good ash, this cigar might be for you. The ash was quite white and held on tightly for inches at a time with no effort.

JACOB’S LADDER REVIEW – OREGON
Summary: This Toro sized smoke looks like it may be wrapped with San Andrés. Toothy; like 100 grit sandpaper. The wrapper is a little sloppy though and features a small hole right in the middle of the cigar. The cap is also a little sloppy. The other end has a closed foot. The cold draw is pretty bland giving me notes of mild tobacco and faint pepper.
Grilled meat, black pepper, coffee and over-toasted sourdough bread make up the profile in the first section. The retro hale is an interesting mix of lemon pepper and leather. Great construction and smoke production.
Burnt toast, mild pepper, grilled meat with a chalky finish and hints of cocoa all make an appearance in the middle section. Still earning an A+ in construction and performance.
Last section gaining some harshness. Tobacco, coffee and charred wood are the main flavors in the profile but the finish actually has lingering sting citrus notes. I feel this cigar would do better in a smaller vitola, maybe corona size.
