Summary: Taking the top cap off this quadruple capped cigar, white pepper, soil, and orange show off in a full-bodied way.  Faint potpourri climbs aboard without rocking the boat. 

As the second half commences, the flavors and strength continue to be overshadowed by the body and smoke output (simple, smooth, and smoky).  Dried herbs and Chocolate cookies without the chips highlight the remainder.  Not too shabby.

THE DEVIL’S HANDS REVIEW – RICH

Summary: This cigar started with quite a lot of sweet spice, which slowly dropped down but remained present. It also brought black pepper, vanilla, clove, oak, cedar, and vegetal notes.

It was a well-made cigar; no issues with construction to speak of.

Summary: Snap. Crackle. Ginger spice! Mad leather in the first inch. The flavor combo keeps me from retro haling. 

Profile calms down a bit late in the second and offers up green pepper, oak, and black pepper. Lots of flavor but I’m sad because I couldn’t identify one sweet note to round it out.

THE DEVIL’S HANDS REVIEW – TED

Summary:  This cigar began with a creamy mix of mild oak, coffee, bell pepper, hints of baking spices and a surprising note of mint in the retro hale.  I experienced some construction issues with a cracked wrapper. The first portion of the cigar also burned very fast.

More towards the middle, the wrapper was still trying to crack.  I was able to coerce cooperation from it.  The flavors included mild wood and leather notes with a slightly sweet floral flavor followed with a long, mild mint finish. There was a bit of white pepper heat added into the retro hale too.

The profile transitioned a bit at the end with a bolder mix of charred wood, black pepper, strong coffee and earth. I still tasted that mint note in the finish as well.  Very nice.
