After Jeremy Casdagli discovered that Napoleon's attempt to conquer Europe was largely responsible for the spread of cigars in across the world, he set out to honor Generals from all sides with unique blends befitting their personalities.

"The blends are chosen in some way that would characterize the general these were crafted for. Moreover for the two lines released each year one would be for France the other for the coalition. For 2023’s first release the 'Brave' line for France’s Michel Ney would be subtle and smooth whilst the 'Forrader' line for Prussia’s Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher has a deceptive strength."

For the 2024 release, the “Epicurist” line honors France’s Antoine Charles Louis de Lasalle, a daring and charismatic cavalry commander, while the “Vater” line pays homage to Austria’s Field Marshal Joseph Radetzky von Radetz, a brilliant strategist revered by his troops. Though these cigars carry the same base leaves as the 2023 lines, the primings and percentages have been adjusted to suit the distinct vitolas"
