ADVENTURA LA LLORONA REVIEW – DOM
Summary: I don’t know whether it’s the Cubanesque combo of pepper, honey, and tea or the refined ring gauge, but this smoke definitely has a “celebratory weekend cigar” feel to it. Peanut shell and dark chocolate at the halfway point bring great flavor, but I wish I were salivating a bit more. While we’re talking about the mouth, that peppery “zing” from earlier sits on the tongue in a fun way. Save some of these for your pal with a dignified European palate. He’ll say they’re “smashing.”

ADVENTURA LA LLORONA REVIEW – RICH
Summary: This cigar brought a lot of nutty notes, chocolate, a bit of cream, a bit of pepper, and a growing amount of wood throughout.
Construction was right on point; the ash just kept holding on and wouldn't let go.

ADVENTURA LA LLORONA REVIEW – BEN
Summary: Started off with cedar and a toasty white pepper combo on the retro. Soon after, that same pepper starts to dance on my palate. I must admit there is a drying on my tongue like grandma's holiday walnuts, but it didn't last too long. In the last half, leather popped in and the cigar took on a traditional tobacco taste. Not gonna lie, in lieu of a vast profile, I smoked it until it was too hot to hold. Down to the nub.

ADVENTURA LA LLORONA REVIEW – TED
Summary: This little stick began with notes of coffee with cream, mild cedar, smooth leather, roasted almond, mild pepper spice, and a hint of graham cracker. Such a solid start that would not remain.
Towards the middle, the profile simplified to wood and coffee with an overall bitter aftertaste. I’ll just guess the small tunnel I experienced in an already small ring gauge cigar had a profound effect.
It finished with sharper floral and wood notes. I cut back a little to try and slip past the remaining tunnel undetected, but “no joy.” I attributed the flavors suffering a bitter finish to the same void in the filler.
