DAVIDOFF MUNDANO REVIEW – CALIFORNIA
Summary: Tart apple on the pre-light. Once lit, cedar and red/black pepper wake up my olfactory sensors. There's a weird cantaloupe melon thing going on, so we'll see what happens with that. The smoke coming from the foot smells just like dark chocolate. Pretty cool when you can enjoy a cigar even when you're not puffing on it. Touching up the seriously wonky burn line. Went out on me, but I'm getting agave once it's up and running again so that's nifty.
Second third starts out with chocolate. Scratch that: chocolate mint. Another burn correction brings me Trix cereal. Wild. My palate is beginning to heat up even though I have quite a bit left to smoke.
Final third features chocolate and floral notes. My tongue is ablaze now. Interesting flavors throughout, but the constant care was a bummer.

Summary: This big ol' honker might not be the best choice for an outdoor winter smoke. But it sure is an interesting cigar.
It started with ample bread flavors, then added earthiness, loads of baking spices, pepper, and woody notes. On occasion, I picked up vanilla and something that reminded me of caramelized onions (yeah, I'm that guy today with that flavor).
The draw was loose enough to be not-ideal and the cigar needed several touch-ups.
It was a unique profile, and I went back and forth between single and fiver. Construction woes dropped it down for me in the end.

Summary: I’m nicknaming this cigar “franken beast”. This this has got to be a 60-ring gauge and the wrapper is mottled and looks like it has healing battle scars. The cold draw is nice... cedar and a bit of toasted coconut, so that’s interesting.
Ok, fresh wood, toast, coffee, nuts and I can’t help but think I’m tasting a hint of lemongrass in the finish. Unique and solid start for sure. Further into the front section, clear notes of cedar move out front. Add in a little burnt sugar and hints of white pepper... pretty nice.
In the middle section let’s include baking spices and a smooth caramel mix with stronger coffee and cedar notes.
Wrapping things up, this cigar remains pretty smooth in finish but picks up some heat in the retro hale for sure. Nicely surprised by this one.
