INTEMPERANCE WR 1794 REVIEW – CALIFORNIA
Summary: This cigar starts out all business with in-your-face oak and Umami. The smoke output is enough to turn on a volcano. Speaking of turn-ons, the scent of the smoke coming off the foot is caressing my olfactory organ with raisin cinnamon rolls and lemon zest. Had to relight it, but when I did, walnut pie!
Same sumptuous flavors kick off the second third with a little more lemon zest. Oh man, honey now (my pants probably aren't going to make it to the final third). This cigar is made for smoking in public because the smoke is unusually enticing.
Final third has many of the same flavors, just dialed back a bit. Good stuff.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Thanksgiving dinner.
Pairing Suggestion: Angry Balls (Angry Orchard and Fireball).
Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: Box.
INTEMPERANCE WR 1794 REVIEW – WISCONSIN
Summary: This shaggy-footed cigar brought nuts, pepper, hay, and generic tobacco from the filler alone. The wrapper added a chocolate/cocoa that was almost like malted milk balls. The cigar added more grass notes, cedar became more abundant, and earthiness joined in as the burn progressed. Some of these flavors just didn't go together for me; I did not enjoy them in combination.
Construction-wise, the cigar had a loose draw and needed frequent touch-ups to burn correctly.
I didn't enjoy this particular cigar much. I'm interested to learn what it is so I can decide if I should try another or let this be my only experience with it.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Malted milk balls rolling in the grass.
Pairing Suggestion: Scotch.

INTEMPERANCE WR 1794 REVIEW – OREGON
Summary: Short, fat and barefooted. This cigar, not my neighbor. Like 5x60 with a shaggy foot. Heavy barnyard scent from the wrapper and a cross between green apple and tootsie roll on the cold draw. I know, crazy... but that’s what’s up.
Starting off with wood notes, mild tobacco, a faint sweetness and just a dash of pepper. The retro hale is smooth but has a fair amount of heat in it as well. Not the strongest start ever recorded. Let’s call it the 1/3 mark, finding the addition of baking chocolate and bitter coffee.
Halfway through and the profile is comprised of faint leather notes, wood, a bit of fresh cut grass and a mocha finish. There is still a lingering sweetness surrounding the whole thing. Definitely seeing a marked improvement over the starting profile.
Working towards the end and the profile does another 180. Linear flavors of tobacco, wood and a little sweetness. This cigar is more question and less clarity.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Wondering why you sat your backup QB in fantasy football as he scores big.
Pairing Suggestion: Hot mocha.
Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: Single.
