SOUTHERN DRAW FIRETHORN REVIEW – CALIFORNIA
Summary: I'm all about closed feet (foots?). This cigar begins with red pepper, leather, and hickory.
Baking spices show up in the second third, but I can't quite pin them down (burnt my tongue on oatmeal this morning). More leather.
Floral notes and brown sugar sweetness in the final third. Nice.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Porridge that's not too hot and not too cold.
Pairing Suggestion: Coffee.
Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: Fiver.

SOUTHERN DRAW FIRETHORN REVIEW – WISCONSIN
Summary: This closed-foot cigar brought interesting flavors of oak, chocolate, raisin, cream, caramel, butterscotch, nuts, and cinnamon. Pepper built throughout the cigar.
The draw was on point. The burn got uneven at times, but always corrected itself pretty quickly.
This cigar was packed with great flavors that went well together, and I enjoyed every minute of smoking it.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Nutty desserts.
Pairing Suggestion: Coffee.
Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: Box.
SOUTHERN DRAW FIRETHORN REVIEW – OREGON
Summary: From the wrapper of this one, barnyard and sourdough bread. Closed foot...tight draw, let’s hope that’s why.
Leather, citrus and mild wood notes with lots of white pepper in the retro hale smoke. Also tasting hints of black tea in the lingering parts of the flavors. Leather is really dominating over the other flavors...the construction is excellent, but the balance is off.
Middle ground is shaping up to offer some hints at caramel sweetness on the palate which is very nice. Leather remaining, tea and a mild floral finish. A+ construction at this point but I’m wishing for a slightly more open draw.
Wrapping up with some harsher edges on the flavors...again, I’m going to attribute this to the tight draw.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: A decent story with a disappointing plot conclusion.
Pairing Suggestion: Coffee and cream.
Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: Single.
