WILDFIRE WANDERER REVIEW – DOM

Summary: Gazing at the foot, I notice the center looks loosely packed compared to the outermost layers. Looking up to the skirt and shirt, the uneven wrapper color bothers me more than it probably should. An inch in, toast and saltine crackers form a curious duo while the retrohale brings the spice. Green melon offers a cooling sensation to juxtapose the nose. Ever have home-brewed ginger beer? There’s definitely a malty ginger note that’s funky-zingy-sweet.

Halfway down, the flavors are cardboardesque. Bummer.To knock out the taste of box, cinnamon stick flies in with a roundhouse kick. While banana keeps things interesting, my palate is becoming parched. Worth a try for a wild ride.

WILDFIRE WANDERER REVIEW – RICH

Summary: This cigar brought a lot of nutty notes and also oak, cedar, and cream. I didn't find anything to dislike, but I didn't really find anything to love either.

The draw was on the open side, but other than that the construction was solid.

WILDFIRE WANDERER REVIEW – BEN

Summary: As soon as I lit and puffed once, the wrapper cracked at the foot about an inch long. To be fair, my first note was chocolate! Hints of cedar, sharpness on the retro hale, like the back end of black pepper coupled with an oaky mouth feel wasn’t a bad combination. Not going to lie, the cigar having a prominent sweet foundation tied it all together. Be careful because the Ash is ashyyyyy! A hint of minty sensation on the retro heading into the last third and it got a little dirty towards the end.

WILDFIRE WANDERER REVIEW – TED

Summary: To open things up the draw on this cigar was quite a bit tighter than I would have preferred. Early on, a predominant floral note quickly gave way to what I could only imagine was exactly what pencil shavings may taste like. A bit further in a relatively strong citrusy, floral mix was the main profile with just a little bit of white pepper. Still, the finish I could only describe as bitter and slightly off-putting. This cigar did sport a very white and relatively solid ash, which was aesthetically great.  The last 2/3 of the cigar really had no big changes and was not in my wheelhouse at all despite having very brief flashes of a creamy, black tea note and hints of savory umami and mushrooms.  They just didn’t last long enough to be influential in the overall experience.
