GUARDIAN OF THE FARM CERBERUS REVIEW – DOM
Summary: Lighting up, white pepper, leather, and dried flowers start things off with a summer feeling. The crackling of a campfire brings a smile to my face until I realize it’s the wrapper cracking. Buttermilk gives an interesting and enjoyable creamy twang to the blend. I’m wondering if I should have opted for a four egg omelette for breakfast instead of the standard three because the strength is really hitting. A hint of confectionary sugar along with semisweet chocolate offer some respite.
Smoking this cigar vertically might prostrate me. Green mango and light leather are my last flavor memories as I put the cigar down and stagger to grab a banana for some sugar. Night night

GUARDIAN OF THE FARM CERBERUS REVIEW – RICH
Summary: Cedar and vanilla notes got this cigar going, with just a bit of black pepper included. Cream and coffee notes joined the party, followed by a lot of oak. Pepper built up throughout. It wasn't the most complex cigar, though it was enjoyable.
Construction gave no issues; it burned well and had a good draw.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Peppery woods.
Pairing Suggestion: Coffee.
Perceived Strength: Medium.

GUARDIAN OF THE FARM CERBERUS REVIEW – TED
Summary: This week’s cigar has a relatively smooth wrapper and is very light in the hand for what appears to be a Toro size cigar. After cutting the cap, the cold draw resistance is as near to perfect as it can get.
Out of the gate I get a mild mixture of wood and nuts along with a slightly mineral-laden tobacco note. There is a bit more shine in the retro hale to include some pepper and a really floral, perfume like flavor. The finish is fast and unfortunately, what I’d call bland.
Middle section in progress. Construction is thus far perfect, except a slightly messy ash is now ensuing. Some of the floral notes starting to appear on the palate along with a mild nut and vegetal combo. Again, super-fast finish in the flavor lane. A race you don’t really want to win. The retro hale continues to be the slightly brighter side of this cigar. The smoke is substantial and carries wood, black tea and a hint of dark toast with an overall floral finish.
Uh oh. Final section. Cigar goes out. Hmmmph. Taking some real effort to get things rolling again…then a very strong mineral note over a wood and leather mixture. Smoke production falls off like a kid learning to ride a bike. I am trying to get this cigar back where it was. Although it wasn’t amazing, it wasn’t bad either. Now the flavors are turning a bit south with all the mineral flavors.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: A show with a predictable outcome.
Pairing Suggestion: Anything without punch… probably water.
Perceived Strength: Lowest end of medium.

Participants in this blind review were completely unaware of the cigar they were evaluating until all submissions were received and processed. Each participant was asked to answer a summary paragraph, an if/than statement, a pairing suggestion, and a purchase suggestion. Cigars were provided by Small Batch with only the expectations of candid responses. All pictures, information, and formatting were completed by a Coordinator outside of the reviewing process. NOTE: Due to possible Covid exposure we did not publish one reviewers thoughts as they couldn't taste anything.
