WARPED EAGLES DESCENT REVIEW – DOM
Summary: This wrapper looks like it dated Chris Brown; there are green and almost purplish distinguishable areas. Fig cookie and coffee with cream right the appearance’s wrongs. Cinnamon brings some spice while a tootsie roll body thickens the pot. The fancy tea-time snack flavors continue with strawberry cream and pecans. I felt a little bad at first for making that Chris Brown reference, but two inches in and the strength is really punching me in the face.
Moving into the second half, the strawberry sweetness has a bit of a Smarties tinge to it. Nuttiness dominates the profile in the last inch. After setting down the nub, green pepper spice lingers on the finish.

WARPED EAGLES DESCENT REVIEW – RICH
Summary: The flavor profile of this cigar was earth, grass, oak, leather, and quite a bit of a rye bread note.
Construction was on point; no issues to speak of.
After a rough run for a few weeks, we've got ourselves a winner in my book.

WARPED EAGLES DESCENT REVIEW – BEN
Summary: I'm starting to think, moisture sucking qualities are the new foundational requirement for cigars these days. It started with hay, hay, and more hay. I don’t know about anyone else, but my cigar had such a tight draw I wound up cutting it twice and unplugging it so much that I could have rolled a cigarillo.
But before I quit, right at the second half it heated up w/cedar, fresh warm toast, and pepper but only moments before I decided to put the cigar down. I really struggled through this one.

WARPED EAGLES DESCENT REVIEW – TED
Summary: This week’s cigar is a tightly wrapped little robusto. Just a hint of visible tooth on the leaf. Cold draw carries a pretty prolific barbecue hickory smoked beef jerky flavor.
With some heat on the foot, I can instantly tell you that none of that hickory beef jerky flavor is initially present on the palate as I expected. I am tasting a salty and slightly spicy mixture of fresh oak, peanuts, and very mild coffee. Nearing the end of this first third I am tasting a little bit of that hickory flavor. Also, I will say the ash was hanging on quite nicely for a long time.
The middle section is changing slightly. Fresh cut oak, leather, and a salty version of lemon grass along with some mild coffee build the bulk of the profile. The retro hale is relatively smooth, featuring much the same profile.
Last chance effort for this smoke. Final third. Nice smooth wood notes; still oak. The lemongrass is changing to a straight lemon peel; very forward citrus flavor. I feel a little lingering tingling (usually that’s good I think) reminiscent of red pepper. Time to talk construction. It's been consistently perfect in draw resistance, smoke production and burn. Bottom line, I liked the construction more than the flavors, but you should try it for yourself.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: That kid sitting behind you at the baseball game. Cute, but a little annoying.
Pairing Suggestion: Cranberry Martini
