HOT CAKE GOLDEN LINE CT REVIEW – DOM
Summary: One puff in and I feel like I should come clean that I am 100% in the mood for a Connecticut right now. Spiced up cinnamon rolls and nuts play to the level of my high expectations. Unlike most pleasures in life, this cigar isn’t fleeting.
Man oh man, I’m halfway in and this stick is still putting out butterhorn pastry goodness. Just like a summer blockbuster in the theaters, I refuse to take a bathroom break from this cigar. Whatever the price point, this cigar is worth it.

HOT CAKE GOLDEN LINE CT REVIEW – RICH
Summary: This cigar brought notes of cedar, pepper, orange, toast, hay, and floral. For me, the cedar overpowered a bit. I would have liked a bit less of that and a bit more of the other flavor notes, then this would have been banging on all cylinders. If you like a bit more cedar, you should give this stick a shot. There are some good things going on.
Construction was spot-on. No issues smoking this cigar at all.

HOT CAKE GOLDEN LINE CT REVIEW – BEN
Summary: Cayenne spices out the gate; it's warm and it lingers. It gets a tad salty with heavy cedar but the creaminess was a nice touch. Man, the smoke production is wild on this one! Midway, the spiciness is very much alive but playing in the background. Nice and steady, this one. A Connie with a little character ain't never hurt nobody! I dig it.

HOT CAKE GOLDEN LINE CT REVIEW – TED
Summary: This cigar featured a profile with cedar, creamy coffee, cashew, hay, white pepper, lemongrass, and leather. Honestly, from start to finish, I really didn’t experience much in the way of flavor transitions… and I couldn’t have been happier. Why? Because the smoke was heavy, smooth, subtle and enjoyable through the entire smoking time. The retro hale was perfect, carrying some white pepper heat in the beginning then moving to a long, mild cedar and leather finish.
This cigar is a perfect example of a cigar for both new smokers and aficionados alike. It’s both approachable and pleasing to the palate; simply a great cigar.
